SUMMARY:Dutton Farm Presents: A Celebration of Progress: A path to inclusion and steps towards Equality
DESCRIPTION:For over ten years\, Dutton Farm has firmly advocated that every person has the right to equal opportunities\, meaningful work\, and a right to make their own decision.\n\n\n\nIn commemoration of our tenth anniversary\, we are extending an invitation for you to attend our first-ever "Celebration of Progress: A pathway to Inclusion and Steps Toward Equality" virtual exhibition on October 22nd at 6:30 pm and once again on October23rd at 10:00 am. Please join us as we present a sober tribute to the continued struggle for civil rights & equality for people with disabilities. We hope that individuals that log into our presentation will receive a historical insight on the untold stories that many of our disabled community have endured. Along with Dutton's' efforts of cultivating a future with equality for all walks of life. In addition\, we are also spotlighting historical legislation that has assisted with civil rights and inclusion for adults with disabilities over the past fifty years which cumulates with the passage of the Americans with Disabilities act which this year marks the thirtieth anniversary of this landmark bill.\n\n\n\nWe believe that our virtual event would be an excellent opportunity for businesses and human resource departments to learn about the importance of inclusion for individuals with disabilities and showcasing the importance of hiring the disabled population within the workforce. As a business leader\, we are reaching out to you to consider celebrating the achievements of ADA in your community and beyond!\n\nSeveral of our local business leaders and their staffs have visited Dutton Farm over the years to learn about diversity and inclusion. We hope you will consider this virtual exhibition as an opportunity for team building for city leaders\, department staff\, or any other group of employees. Tickets are $25.00 per person\, and we also have a group rate of $45.00 as well for family and departments that wish to participate. All proceeds benefit Dutton Farm and our continued efforts to inspire others to see all people with disabilities treated with equality and respect.
